Finishing Materials for Rural Housing Construction PromotedSouth Phyongan Province has pushed ahead with the work to supply enough finishing materials needed for implementing the task of rural housing construction this year. While analyzing the experience and lessons gained in the construction of rural dwelling houses last year, officials of the province recognized again the importance of ensuring the finishing materials ahead of others. And they took various measures to ensure that cities and counties push ahead with this work with vigour by themselves with the increase of the production of finishing materials at major units by concentrating provincial efforts on it. According to this, the building-materials bases in the province have increased the production. A lot of sanitary ceramics and other finishing materials have been produced this year alone. Cities and counties, too, made a dynamic drive to develop and produce quality finishing materials by using locally available raw materials. The province has also conducted a substantial work to widely introduce the effective techniques and good experience into increasing the production of finishing materials and ensuring their qualities. The work is being further intensified to give priority to the supply of finishing materials needed for implementing the rural housing construction task.
