Mother Classroom He Looked Round in Delight

One January day in 2018, the respected General Secretary learned in detail about the modernization conditions and education work at various places of Pyongyang Teachers Training College and dropped in at a mother classroom.

An official of the college gave a detailed explanation to him that, in the classroom, they teach such methods as using all household utensils in educating children, educating orphans and showing warm motherly affection to orphans according to the plan for extracurricular education.

After listening to the official, the General Secretary, expressing his great joy, asked if the graduates from the college have been allocated a lot to the primary schools for orphans as teachers.

The official replied affirmatively, but could not understand why the General Secretary was so glad.

After a while, he said it was essential to teach the students how to combine school education and family education in a classroom arranged by simulating the home environment, stressing that as there were some graduates allocated to Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans as teachers, such education was urgently needed and accordingly, the college had to give such educations to the students.
