Valuing Things of Our Own
One January day in ２０１６, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill.
After looking at the schoolbags made with bag canvas produced at the factory, he said with pleasure that they were flawless.
When he dropped in at the newly-established bag canvas production process, he repeatedly expressed satisfaction, praising that the bag canvas production line arranged at the factory is the locally manufactured production process, Korean style production process desired by the Workers’ Party of Korea.
He made rounds of the factory with officials and gave precious instructions as to the management and operation of the factory including the issue of producing various kinds of quality cloth.
He said boastfully that every single piece of equipment installed at the bag canvas line was our own thing both in name and in reality born by our efforts and technology, our creative wisdom and passion.
Listening to his instructions, the officials made up their minds to bring earlier the prosperity of the country by steadily creating our own things, more highly displaying the mental strength of self-reliance.
Encouraging Them to Serve as Undying Torchlight
Glorious is the course of struggle of our Party which has advanced along the road of miracle and victory by giving fullest play to the spiritual strength of the masses.
That’s why our Party puts great efforts into the work of giving full play to the spiritual strength of the masses regarding it as a crucial matter related to the victory of the revolution.
One March day in ２０２２, the respected General Secretary had a photo session with the participants in the First Workshop of Officials in the Information Field of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Saying that the Party information workers should become torchlight and thunder of the WPK in strengthening in every way the politico-ideological might, the greatest national power decisive of the victorious advance of Korean-style socialism and the invincible might peculiar to Juche Korea, the General Secretary expressed the belief that the participants in the workshop would hold fast to the Juche theory of giving importance to ideology as the motive force of innovation, creation and advance and dynamically accelerate our revolution through a powerful ideological offensive rocking the whole country.
His teachings remind our people who turned out in the grand struggle for the overall development of socialism about the truth that the masses’ mental strength is the very source of miracles and transformations.
