New villages with unique architectural beauty have been built at the Nongpho Vegetable Farm in Chongjin City, North Hamgyong Province. There took place a ceremony of moving into new houses on the spot. Present there were officials of the province and the city, builders and agricultural workers. A congratulatory speech was made and licences for the use of houses were handed over. As a congratulatory art performance and a cheerful peasant dance party were given to rev up the atmosphere of moving into new houses, officials visited the families of agricultural workers moving into new houses to congratulate them. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors.
