The respectedComrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ri Myong Ho, a woman centenarian living in Neighbourhood Unit No. 15 of Tongchon-ri, Cholsan County, North Phyongan Province. She, who was subjected to humiliation and insult before the liberation of Korea, keenly experienced the gratitude to the Workers' Party of Korea which put forward her as the master of the land and the country after the country’s liberation. She fulfilled her duty as an agricultural worker for decades and even after becoming a pensioner, she did good things helpful to the country. Officials of the Cholsan County Committee of the WPK and villagers visited the family of the centenarian to congratulate her. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper.
