The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill has finished the third-stage production of school uniform cloth for this year. The mill carried out its daily plans by overhauling the machines in a qualitative way and increasing their operating rate. It introduced dozens of inventions to reduce the production costs, ensure the normal operation of equipment and improve the quality of products. It applied efficient piecing and circuit methods and increased the operating time of looms to produce more cloth. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
