New power station built in Jagang Province

Jagang Province has built the Usi Power Station Unit 3. It is another power-generating base conducive to developing Usi County's economy and improving the people's standards of living. Its inauguration ceremony was held on the spot on September 26. Present there were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the province and county, builders and employees of the power station. Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the provincial people's committee, addressed the ceremony and then speeches were made there. At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the power station. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
