The delegation of the United Russia Party headed by President Dmitri Medvedev, who took part in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea during his visit to the DPRK at the invitation of the WPK Central Committee, left Pyongyang on October 11. Flags of the DPRK and the Russian Federation fluttered at the flagstaffs at Pyongyang International Airport and a guard of honour of the Korean People’s Army lined up at the apron before the airport terminal. Im Chon Il, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, warmly saw off the delegation. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
