Choe Ryong Hae meets members of International Kim Il Sung Prize Council and International Kim Jong Il Prize Council

Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a talk in a friendly atmosphere with Mukesh Sharma, secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council and the International Kim Jong Il Prize Council, and its directors Alexandr Prokhanov, Dewi Soekarno and Matteo Carbonelli who paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on October 11. Present there were Kim Un Je, vice-chairperson of the Korean Association of Social Scientists, and officials concerned. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
