Vice-Director General Matteo Carbonelli of the International Institute of the Juche Idea left Pyongyang on October 14 after taking part in an international seminar on the Juche idea held on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea. He was seen off at Pyongyang International Airport by Kim Un Je, vice-chairperson of the Korean Association of Social Scientists. On the same day, Noriaki Ouchi, researcher of the IIJI, left Pyongyang. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
