Self-reliance is the immutable course of development of the Korean revolution. The respectedComrade Kim Jong Un made the truth that the permanent strategy of the Korean revolution and its final victory lie in marching straight along the road of independence, the road of socialism pioneered and advanced by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, an element of faith of the Korean people. That is why they open up a new era of prosperity by dint of self-reliance, a period of comprehensive development of socialism, in their own way, while steadily increasing their strength. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
