DPRK players are winning gold medals in succession at the 2025 International Weightlifting Federation World Championships, fully displaying their ability.
Song Kuk Hyang set three new world records in the women's 69kg category.
She renewed the existing world records by lifting 120kg in snatch, 150kg in clean and jerk and 270kg in total and bagged three gold medals.
Meanwhile, Ro Kwang Ryol lifted 215kg in clean and jerk (new world record) in the men's 88kg category to win a gold medal and took the second place in total.
