A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs at a press conference on September 26 criticized Japan for interfering in its internal affairs. Individual Japanese politicians provoked his country and caused trouble several times with regard to the Taiwan issue, thus blatantly violating the One-China principle and seriously interfering in the internal affairs of China, he said. There is only one China in the world and Taiwan is an inalienable part of Chinese territory, he noted. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors.
