Russia censures EU for brigandish act

Shortly ago, the European Union took earnings from Russia’s assets frozen due to sanctions and offered them to Ukraine as a loan. Dmitri Peskov, Russian presidential press secretary, gave a warning at a press conference on October 2 that the EU’s measure will surely face retaliation since it is as good as robbery. On the same day, a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry denounced the EU’s attempt to use Russian assets for Ukraine as criminal. Saying that a powerful countermeasure will be taken on the principle of reciprocity, the spokesperson stressed that Russia has sufficient means and capabilities to counter it. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper.
