Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made a comment on October 7 to accuse the EU and NATO of inciting Ukraine to criminal acts. She denounced that the EU and NATO member nations have become the direct accomplices to those crimes by egging Ukraine on to attack peaceful nuclear facilities. Referring to the fact that high voltage transmission lines were broken and the power supply was cut off by the Ukrainian forces’ attack on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Station on September 23, she exposed that the EU and NATO were covering up the criminal acts of Ukraine.
