Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryavkov clarified the stand to take a countermeasure against the European Union’s decision to limit the movements of Russian diplomats at a press conference on October 8. He ridiculed those thinking of restrictions on the movements of Russian diplomats, saying that they do not know how to frighten their rival. No measure for permission or prohibition works on Russia and it has nothing to do with actual life, he said, emphasizing that Russia would reflectively react to the EU’s restrictive measure.
