Black swan and ostrich production base built in Jagang Province

Jagang Province has newly built a black swan and ostrich production base at the Hungju Chicken Farm. The completion of the large-capacity production base, fully equipped with the conditions for breeding black swans and ostriches irrespective of season, including blocks for breeding swans, cygnets and ostriches, has provided another foundation for improving the provincial people's life. Officials of the Party and power organs in the province looked round the new production base on December 8. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
