The agricultural workers in Kumbu-ri of Sakju County and Tanghu-ri of Phihyon County in North Phyongan Province have become the enjoyers of rural civilization at a time when modern rural dwelling houses are being built across the country.
Present at the ceremonies of moving into new houses held on the spot were Choe Yong Man, chairman of the provincial people's committee, officials of the Party and power organs in the province and the counties, builders and agricultural workers.
At the ceremonies speeches were made and licences for the use of houses were handed over.
As farmers began moving into new houses, congratulatory art performances were given. The people's happy laughter rang out from the windows of the new houses where the national flags of the DPRK fluttered.
Officials visited the owners of the houses to share joy with them.
