South Hamgyong Province has newly built an aviation club.
The club has a mass air sports technology dissemination office, runway, general office building, hostel and sci-tech learning space. The completion of it has made it possible to satisfactorily conduct air sports training, technical dissemination and service activities.
An inaugural ceremony of the South Hamgyong Provincial Aviation Club was held on November 28.
Present there were officials in South Hamgyong Province and the relevant field, builders, working people in Hamhung City and coaches, players and employees of the aviation club.
Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, delivered an inaugural address.
After the ceremony was over, the participants looked round the club and watched a demonstration of parachutists jumping on a mountain and players skilfully radio-controlling model planes.
The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
