Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, denounced on December 1 the reckless remarks made by the chairman of the NATO Military Commission.
The chairman recently let loose a blast that a preemptive attack could be examined as a "defensive action" while talking about NATO's reaction to Russia's "mixed offensive".
In this regard, the spokeswoman warned that the remarks made at the time when NATO is stoking fear by rattling on about Russia's "attack" not merely add fuel to the fire but worsen the present confrontation situation.
Although NATO likes to chant purely "defensive nature", the "confession" of the chairman of the NATO Military Commission on the preemptive attack is putting a definite end to such a myth, she derided.
