Jagang Province has built the Kanggye Interlock Tile Factory. The construction of the modern factory furnished with various kinds of equipment pieces needed for producing interlock tiles and Hume concrete pipes in various forms laid the material and technical foundation for pushing ahead with regional construction as intended by the Workers' Party of Korea. Present at the inauguration ceremony held on the spot on December 11 were officials of the Party and power organs in Jagang Province, working people in Kanggye City and employees of the factory. At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the factory. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
