The FA (Football Association) Cup tournament that started on November 9 came to a close in the DPRK. The tournament which was held at Kim Il Sung Stadium brought together teams which won the top six places in the 2024-2025 DPRK men's and women's premier football leagues. The Ryomyong Team came first in the men's football event and the Sobaeksu Team in the women's football event. Trophies and medals were awarded to the teams and players who proved successful at an awarding ceremony held at Kim Il Sung Stadium on November 19. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors.
