Talks took place between the representatives of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army and the delegation of the Military-Political General Department of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Pyongyang on November 5.
Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Pak Yong Il, deputy director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, and other leading members and from the Russian side were the delegation of the Military-Political General Department of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation headed by Director Viktor Goremuikin, vice-minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, and members of the military attaché office of the Russian embassy in the country.
Discussed there were the issues of strengthening collaboration, exchanges and cooperation between the army political organs in line with the bilateral relations expanding under the strategic guidance of the heads of state of the two countries.
A reception for welcoming the Russian delegation was given that evening.
