DPRK players returned home on December 16 after participating in the 5th Asian Youth Para Games held in the United Arab Emirates.
Pak Kyong Sok won two gold medals in the men's 100-metre breaststroke and 50-metre freestyle in the MS6.
In the MS9, So Kwang Nam won the men's table-tennis singles by beating an Indian rival 3-1 in the semi-final and a Malaysian rival 3-0 in the final.
The players and coaches who returned home after exalting the honour of the country were greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by their families and officials of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled.
Members of the Korea Sports Association of the Disabled put garlands around the necks of the players and coaches and presented bouquets to them, congratulating them on their successes.
